The German IPv6 Council has been established to group all the different persons in industry, research, politics and administration in the IPv6 field in Germany with the clear mission to advocate IPv6 by improving technology, market, and deployment user and industry awareness of IPv6, creating a quality and secure new Generation Internet.


NEW: Guidelines for IPv6 and Data Privacy

On March 16, 2012 the Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Peter Schaar, has visited the German IPv6 Council in Potsdam. The discussions of the meeting have been summarized into 6 guidelines for IPv6 and Data Protection. [read more] (in German only)
